Born in Algeria, I grew up admiring my mother’s ability to create culinary wonders from fresh local produce. She inspired me to become more involved in the kitchen and recreate traditional and contemporary dishes at home.
My capabilities soon improved under my mother’s guidance, and eventually, the encouragement and praise my food received made me realise that cooking was not just a fun hobby. It was my passion!
Enthused in learning about the professional culinary world, I studied Professional Cookery at the University of London. The numerous techniques and methods I learnt enabled me to work at some of the best restaurants in the UK, including the Michelin-star restaurant Pied à Terre and the five-star hotel, The Landmark London.
Babylon Dining is a natural synthesis of this journey. My team and I bring together the rich flavours and humble nature of cooking in Ancient Babylon with the refined beauty and exclusivity of fine dining. It’s a beautiful celebration of two worlds.
