How does Babylon Dining provide private dining services to clients?

Your private chef Salim and his team will arrive at your home on the day of the booking with the required ingredients. Salim cooks the dishes from your chosen menu as his team cleans and sets up the dining area.

Once the dishes are prepared, the team will serve them to you and your guests to enjoy. We’ll also wash up after the meal to ensure your kitchen is just as clean and tidy as before.

What if someone has special dietary requirements or allergies?

Our private chef has vast experience in cooking all kinds of food so can easily cater the menu accordingly.

Whether you require halal, kosher, vegan or vegetarian alternatives, we can discuss all the details when we start creating your special menu. We’ll always create safe yet delectable, delicious dishes to accommodate various allergies or dietary requirements.

Does Babylon Dining only provide sample menu items?

No, Babylon Dining also offers customised menus for your guests. Chef Salim is proud to present sample menu items along with the option to curate your special menu for the occasion. We’ll happily adapt the menu based on your preferences and dietary requirements. Simply discuss it with the private chef beforehand.

What are the acceptable payment options for Babylon Dining?

Babylon Dining only accepts payments through bank transfers.

How much is it to hire a private chef?

Menus start from £45 per person to hire a private chef in the Cotswolds. However, the price for Babylon Dining will depend on the amount of food and guests you wish to cater for alongside travel expenses. We’re committed to bringing you fine dining experiences for affordable prices.

Do you allow refunds for bookings that have not been fulfilled yet?

If you need to cancel a private dining booking with Babylon Dining, you must get in touch with us at least two weeks before the booking date to receive a full refund.

Does each menu and booking include a minimum spend?

Yes, each booking and menu we create for a private dining experience includes a minimum spending amount. It will also include the booking fees and travelling expenses.

Does Babylon Dining have any requirements for the day of the booking?

On the day of the booking, please keep the kitchen completely clean and free of any pets. This will ensure your guests can enjoy a delicious, hygienic, and safe meal without any delays.

Do we provide plates, cutlery, and other equipment?

Yes, Babylon Dining can provide you with plates, cutlery, and table displays for your dinner event. Just inform us of your requirements and additional equipment when you book.

However, sometimes it’s more convenient for us to use the existing equipment in your kitchen if that also works for you. We can discuss all the logistics when you make your enquiry.
